Here we have 5 beautiful buttons, handcrafted by Carolyn Gibbs from high fired porcelain. The buttons are decorated with a simple floral design in green and finished with an oxide glaze. The buttons are 28 mm/ 1 1/8" diameter. The reverse sides are unglazed. The high fired temperature makes the buttons extremely hard wearing.
These porcelain buttons are high fired to over 2200 degrees. They are machine washable, although we recommend turning the garment inside out. Perfect accent touch for a special hand-knit scarf, sweater, or other handcrafted item.
