This wonderful vintage Kenmore C877.15 sewing machine is one of those special finds that gives us a glimpse into an era when sewing machines were built with remarkable strength—and were expected to last for generations.
Dating from approximately the 1950s–1960s, this classic Kenmore features a substantial all-metal body, finished in traditional black with beautiful gold and yellow detailing along the bed of the machine. These solidly constructed vintage machines are often affectionately described as being built like a “tank,” and it isn't difficult to see why.
Designed primarily for straight stitching, this is a wonderfully straightforward mechanical machine from a time before computerized controls and complicated electronics.
